Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 05, 2026
At Contractor Bill, available from our website, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that are processed, collected, or utilized by our platform and how we protect it.
If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact us.
1. Privacy-First Philosophy
Unlike traditional invoice generators, Contractor Bill operates almost entirely on the client side (inside your web browser).
We do not store, save, or upload any of the business names, client details, item descriptions, rates, or financial numbers you input into our form onto any remote servers.
All PDF rendering and calculation logs happen instantly on your local device. Once you close or reset the form, that active session data is cleared from memory.
If you choose to create an account, we securely store your business profile details, contact information, and company logo on our secure databases to provide a seamless personalized billing experience.
2. Browser Local Storage
To provide a seamless user experience and save you from repetitive typing, our website utilizes your browser's Local Storage feature.
What stays saved: Your core business profile details (such as "Billed By" business name, personal name, email, phone, and address) are securely cached locally on your own device.
Your Control: This data remains strictly within your browser. You can permanently delete this information at any time by clearing your browser's cache or cookies, or by using the reset buttons provided within our tool's interface.
3. Log Files
Contractor Bill follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes:
Internet Protocol (IP) addresses
Browser type and version
Internet Service Provider (ISP)
Date and time stamps
Referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks
This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information. The sole purpose of this information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic insights to optimize website speed and performance.
4. Google Cookies and Advertisements
We may display advertisements on our website to keep this tool 100% free for everyone. We may partner with third-party vendors, such as Google AdSense, which use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites on the internet.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to Contractor Bill and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or by managing cookie preferences via their browser configurations.
5. Third-Party Privacy Policies
Contractor Bill's Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers or analytics tools for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

6. Children's Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Contractor Bill does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
